These Terms and Conditions govern your use of wedin.ai and form a binding agreement between you and Wedin PTY (Ltd), a company registered in South Africa ("Wedin", "we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using wedin.ai, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms.

wedin.ai is an AI-powered wedding music planning tool. It helps couples think through, plan, and brief the music for their wedding day. wedin.ai is a planning aid — it is not a booking agent, a talent agency, or a music management service. We do not represent, contract with, or take responsibility for any musician, band, DJ, or live act.
Any artist or act information provided through wedin.ai is for planning and reference purposes only. All bookings, contracts, and payments with artists are made directly between you and the artist. Wedin PTY (Ltd) is not party to any such agreement.
Access to the wedin.ai planning session is available free of charge up to the Music Portrait stage. Full access — including the Moment Map, Deep-Dives, and Music Brief — requires a one-time payment of R699 (South African Rand), inclusive of VAT where applicable.
Payment is processed securely via PayFast. We do not store your payment card details.
The R699 fee covers a single wedding planning session for one couple. It is not a subscription and does not renew automatically.
Our refund policy is designed to be fair and is aligned with the South African Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (CPA).
Full refund — 7 days, brief not yet generated
If you have paid but have not yet generated your Music Brief, you may request a full refund within 7 days of payment. To request a refund, email hello@wedin.ai with your name, the email address used to pay, and your payment reference number. We will process your refund within 5–7 business days.
No refund once the Music Brief has been generated
Once your Music Brief has been generated and delivered, the service has been rendered in full. In accordance with Section 17(4) of the CPA, no refund is payable for a service that has already been performed to completion. The Music Brief is a bespoke document created specifically for your wedding and cannot be returned.
Technical failure
If a technical failure on our side prevents your Music Brief from being generated after payment, you are entitled to either a full refund or a re-run of the session at no additional charge. Contact us at hello@wedin.ai within 14 days of the technical failure.
Cooling-off period (Electronic transactions)
In accordance with Section 44 of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act (ECTA), you have the right to cancel your purchase within 7 days of completing the transaction, provided the Music Brief has not yet been generated. This right is in addition to your rights under the CPA.

The Music Brief, Music Portrait, and all planning outputs generated by wedin.ai are produced for your personal use in planning your wedding. You may share them with your wedding planner, venue, or chosen artists. You may not resell, license, or distribute them commercially.
All other content on wedin.ai — including text, design, software, and AI models — is the property of Wedin PTY (Ltd) and may not be reproduced without written permission.
wedin.ai uses artificial intelligence to generate planning recommendations, music suggestions, and brief content. While we take care to ensure quality, AI-generated content is not infallible. You should exercise your own judgement when acting on any recommendation. Wedin PTY (Ltd) accepts no liability for decisions made based on AI-generated outputs.
Artists and acts referenced or listed on wedin.ai have not been formally auditioned, vetted, or endorsed by Wedin PTY (Ltd) unless explicitly stated. We make no representations about the quality, reliability, or suitability of any specific artist for your event. References to artists are for planning guidance only.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Wedin PTY (Ltd)'s total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of wedin.ai shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service (R699). We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages, including but not limited to disappointment arising from a wedding day that differs from the plan produced.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for fraud, gross negligence, or any liability that cannot be excluded under South African law, including the CPA.
We collect and process your personal information in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA). Please read our Privacy Policy for full details of how we handle your data.
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of wedin.ai after any change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We encourage you to check this page periodically.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of wedin.ai will be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.
